So, christmas went well. As usual the christ part got set on the backburner by pretty much everybody everywhere, and we rocked along to a couple of days off with the usual suspects. Got a copy of Dos Passos' "DC Trilogy" from my parents. That is this years "whoah!" present! And the day after i got it i got a short recap about the development of wealth and power in Washington since the 50's in WP. So that is settled then... As of right now it seems like an interesting read. The characters are somewhat forced, and the situations he presents them in is the usual fare for his ilk. There are ever ominous clouds on the horizon, but they march on from defeat through victory to defeat again. Its how it should be in that kind of novel, and it will be fun to follow the lifestories presented within. Then we'll see how close we get to DC along the way. Other than that some good records were listened to, some work was done, and everything was slow paced, which was a glorious change.

So yeah, all it takes is two weeks of the Finnish campaign in IL-2 Sturmovik for me to suddenly come across an old program from Norwegian broadcasting dealing with Finnish espionage into the Soviet Union instigated by Norwegian intelligence.... Mirror man, mirror me.
