Saw "In The Loop" today. Sad and funny at the same time. All this puppetry is a wee bit much for me. Made me laugh enough not to worry about the implications of the behaviour patterns shown. It`s the outlines of a quite dreadful aspect of our shared history, and those command and control structures are still plodding along their courses with intentions i find myself too far away from to grasp. Oh well, it`s a hobby.
I`m reading another delightful short story over at flurb.net. The stories there are in possession of some very interesting idea-spaces.
Which brings us to Inception. Which brings us to the complete corporate colonization of the subconscious. Which brings us around some toldyasomoments. Which brings us to "never twice during a republican administration". Nuttin wrong with me old executive functions nosireeeeee. Ouch.

In concert.

So,today I got to listen to Vadim Repin, Arve Tellefsen and an assortment of other violinists live for three hours. Ohmyfrickingodhowtotallysmooththatplayingwas! Yeah. The concert will also be remembered for a piece about failed Polish revolt of 1830, a very pretty woman in a red dress, and the wonderful visual disconnect i got when i focused on the double bass in a piece for it and violin.

Apathy.

So. Today I`m (not unusually) suffering under a little spell of depression here. Who would have thought that to be twenty six, under educated, unemployed, alone, and without a sex life would cause a person to apathetic and self depreciating? Yeah, go figure. Big fun, and all the mentally experienced hijinks in the world doesn`t really make much of a difference in relation to the above mentioned deficiencies.
